I started as a kid with a dream, a camcorder, and Windows Movie Maker.
I aim to make work rooted in play and connection. I aim to make commercials feel more human, driven by emotion and supported by playful, visual worlds and strong production design.
I'm drawn to themes exploring coming of age, mental health, and the universal journey of time (aren't we all a little existential?). Especially amplifying women's voices and underrepresented experiences.
In 2023, a short film I co-directed, "Everything Around Here", won Best Film from The Art Of Documentary One Day Doc Contest, competing against over 140 films worldwide.
I've had opportunities to work with Adidas, Edna's Cocktails Co., Covenant House, York House School, and Humber College, and I've made portfolio spots for Bumble and Uber.
Film is such a delicate balance of elements: the visuals, sound, story, pacing, and vibe all work together to make a project what it is.
