Hi! I'm Sydney Facey, a Director and Video Producer based in Vancouver, BC.
Growing up in the greater Toronto area, I filled my time with musical theatre and learning to make "music videos" with a camcorder.
Now, I work with brands and organizations to create compelling video content, ranging from short-form, marketing pieces to story-driven campaign videos.
My passion lies in genuine storytelling that builds connection, adding a human touch to brand narratives. I specialize in social-centred stories, accentuating women, and trailblazers, and exploring themes like wellness, coming of age, and the universal journey of time.
Every film has a harmonious balance of creative elements, from visuals to sound and storytelling to pacing, and I work to ensure these are all done well.
